MovieSlate crashes when I enter music video mode, why?

Unfortunately, Apple's last-minute iOS 4.2.1 update introduced this crash.

We have since modified MovieSlate to avoid the crash. We have submitted the new version to Apple for review and we expect it will be available in the App Store around December 8, 2010. We apologize for this inconvenience.

If you have not yet upgraded your iDevice to 4.2.1 and you require access to the music video mode we recommend that you hold off until MovieSlate 2.4.1 is available in the App Store.

If you need MovieSlate's music video features sooner than that and you are technically inclined, it is possible to downgrade the iOS on your device. Just Google for "how to downgrade from iOS 4.2.1".
